Destroy Light: Once per encounter, the Prince of Light can cast Darkness. Thy enemy: The Prince of Light grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls to allies within 60 ft. Blind: As a standard action, the Prince of Light. While he doesn't have the same reliability as Tyron, his light element does mean that he can stun Wind monsters much easier than the Water Sylph. Unfortunately, he doesn't have anything else that can be considered unique, with other monsters offering better attack bar reductions or more debuffs.
A famous example: Kanaya Maryam, a Sylph of Space. We have not seen how Kanaya's role works, we just can theorize what she would do. If a Sylph of Space is one who Creates Space, she must have been able to create movement, physical space on objects, propagation as she said, and also creation. That is a very surrealistic way to tell it, someone who creates creation, one who creates creativity on others. I really can't tell if Kanaya was in touch with her aspect, I can't tell a good example of Kanaya's role in action beside of her desire to grow up a new Mother Grub, to create something that will create a new troll generation, to create something that will propagate troll race.
I gave some thoughts to sylphs and I would prefer to say that they create and preserve their aspect for others, and keep it safe for them.
If we consider that Maids ‘Make' (create) their aspect, I would said that they create it actively, because of the examples we had of maids. Then sylphs are their passive counterpart. They passively Create and Preserve their Aspect and through it.
Our Sylph of Light: Aranea Serket. First, does Sylphs heal? This is something people have been saying, because of what Aranea said and did: She healed Terezi's eyes, helping her to see(Light). She never said that she was a healer, though:

We have to accept the idea that all classes use their aspect both in a literal and a figuratively way. Aranea created Light on Terezi, literally giving her the ability to see, because as you may know, the images we watch daily with our eyes are made of Light. Also, she then created light on Jake's mind, by making him know how people see him and giving him information about his powers. That's the deal with classpects, they can be literal and figurative.
Now, lets talk about Light. It is said to mean Fortune, Illumination, Clarity and Importance, also that it involves putting attention to certain information. Its counterpart must be Void.
Void being about the Irrelevance and Mystery of something and Light being about the Importance and Fortune of it.
A Sylph of Light is one who creates illumination, importance, information, fortune, and creates with clarity and attention. Also they preserve the fortune and importance on others.
At the beginning of their quest, this sylph could be very wordy and will know lots of things (is not necessary 'intelligent' or a 'genius'). They just want to help their friends to know about the things that surround them. But even if it is one right thing to do, it is fine to also not knowing some things, and leave them in the Void.
As a passive player, the sylph will only create to help others and will have to learn on not acting on their own. Aranea did that, and now she's dead (again). As Aranea, they would create information on others, keeping them informed of the plans the team will have. As illuminated persons, they must be really good at investigations and philosophy, and will study a specific theme.

Their abilities as Sylphs are to invite the creation of light on people, some examples are what Aranea did with Terezi and with Jake, as previously mentioned.
Also they create importance, they can convince their team to follow a goal by creating importance on that goal. If they reach god tier, they would create light, making the darkness disappear. Their most important ability is the creation of fortune on their session, luck for the all the team.
Examples for the Strife Specibus of light players are magic objects (wands, dices), and for sylphs chainsaw/lipstick (sylph but it is more of an space example). Guess that Sylphs of Light are prone to use intelectual objects that are common between magicians like canes or staffs, obviously they are not restricted to this.
The land of this player has to be a place that needs illumination. The creation of information is the purpose of their quest. The player must ask the Denizen to illuminate the planet, so the consorts can live a happier life. They would also create the education or propagation of information between the people of their land. It could be that they need the creation of fortune too. Be creative and think on some other quests!
